REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in networking and systems administration.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, and Office 365/Microsoft Suites.
  • Hands-on knowledge of network devices (Cisco, Arista, Extreme Networks, Aruba).
  • Experience with firewall and VPN solutions, preferably Fortinet or similar.
  • Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, including Azure AD, VMs, and security.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Network & Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network and server systems. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure robust, secure, and scalable IT solutions. Your expertise in networking, systems administration, and Microsoft cloud technologies will be essential in delivering high-quality support and innovative solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Manage and support Microsoft SQL Server, Azure environments, and other Microsoft Office 365/ Teams/Suites.
  • Assist with the deployment and administration of Azure AD, Virtual Machines, and cloud security protocols.
  • Monitor network and server health, respond to alerts, and resolve support tickets promptly.
  • Perform system upgrades, patch management, and security hardening.
  • Provide support for Windows Server environments and related systems.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop tailored IT solutions.
  • Escalate complex issues and coordinate with vendors as needed.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in network and systems administration.
