Description

The Systems Principal for ePMA and eOBS will act as the expert technical lead for both systems, ensuring their optimal performance, integration, and development. The post holder will manage system administration, user support, configuration, and enhancements, while contributing to strategic developments aligned with Trust objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert technical support to ensure 24/7 availability of ePMA and eOBS systems.
  • Lead on system upgrades, including planning, testing, and implementation.
  • Lead collaboration with Infrastructure Engineers to coordinate and oversee the monthly security patching and testing of both non-production and production environments, ensuring minimal disruption and full compliance with Trust security protocols
  • Manage technical development and change requests from specification to deployment.
  • Work collaboratively with digital colleagues to ensure a robust, reliable, and user-friendly Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is in place and ready to be activated for both the ePMA and eOBS systems if required.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support system enhancements and resolve issues.
  • Lead or participate in specialist projects, including testing workstreams and issue resolution.
  • Maintain system documentation, test logs, and provide summary reports.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical safety case for both ePMA and eOBS systems, particularly when implementing system changes.
  • Ensure compliance with Trust policies, data protection, and clinical safety standards.
  • Deliver training and guidance to end users as required.
