Description Systems & Projects Engineer Location: Victoria, TX Compensation: $65,000 – $70,000 annually (hourly position, based on experience) Overview The role is primarily supporting Leverage Mechanical Services IT operations while also contributing to shared enterprise infrastructure and strategic IT initiatives to ensure consistency, security, and scalability across affiliated companies. This is a hands-on role with a mix of field support and project work across a growing multi-entity environment This position supports multiple office locations and will require travel as needed to address network infrastructure, end-user support, and project implementation across the enterprise. Reporting Structure Reports directly to the Enterprise IT Director Works closely with: Other Systems & Projects Engineer(s) Help Desk Lead Primary Responsibilities Endpoint & User Support Computer and equipment provisioning for Leverage and Insight users Laptop/desktop assignments, reassignments, and returns User onboarding/offboarding support in coordination with Help Desk Advanced troubleshooting and escalation support Provide onsite support at various office locations as needed Identity & Device Management Entra ID (Azure AD) user and group management Active Directory Domain Services (hybrid environment) Intune device enrollment, configuration, and compliance Group Policy and device standards enforcement Operational Support Work within the enterprise RMM platform Remote support and maintenance` Ensure devices meet security and compliance baselines Support and maintain IT operations across multiple locations Enterprise Responsibilities Infrastructure & Projects Azure infrastructure (VMs, networking, hybrid services) Microsoft 365 tenant-wide initiatives Server maintenance and modernization projects Security tooling support (Sentinel One, backups, monitoring, remediation) Assist with deployment and support of infrastructure across multiple offices Project Collaboration Tag-team remote projects with the Systems & Projects Engineer(s) Participate in after-hours or high-risk changes when needed Contribute real-world experience to architectural discussions Travel to various company locations for project execution, upgrades, and issue resolution Requirements Tools & Technologies (Experience Required / Preferred) Microsoft 365 administration Entra ID (Azure AD) Intune (MDM/MAM) Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) RMM platforms Remote support tools (ConnectWise Control or equivalent) Azure IaaS (VMs, networking) Endpoint security tools (Sentinel One) Ideal Candidate Profile 5+ years of real-world IT experience (MSP or multi-entity environments a plus) Comfortable owning work independently Strong troubleshooting instincts Experience supporting field or non-office users Able to balance hands-on operational work with project execution Willing and able to travel to multiple office locations as required Capable of managing and supporting IT operations across distributed environments Work Environment & Requirements This role will require travel to various company and client locations, including industrial job sites such as oil refineries, plants, and other field environments Must be able to meet all site access requirements, which may include: Drug screenings Background checks Safety and site-specific training (as required) Must be comfortable working in industrial environments and adhering to all safety regulations and PPE requirements Ability to access and work within active job sites when supporting infrastructure, network, or end-user needs Benefits 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off (80 hours annually) Health insurance benefits
