DESCRIPTION

As part of a diverse team, you will design and build robotic automation solutions to test Apple products, ensuring their outstanding quality before they reach customers! Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and run robotic system testing solutions as the owner of one or more technology areas - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver the most effective and impactful ways to test and solve short and long-term problems - Analyze data and results, and report the impact of all system issues found, advocating for the customer and contributing to the highest quality at all levels of the product

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficient in Python
  • 2+ years of creating and using robotics and/or mechatronic systems (e.g. microcontrollers, sensors, actuators) to build automated solutions.
  • Experience with computer vision (openCV and/or ML-based CV)
  • Experience with applied mathematics (e.g. linear algebra, transformation matrices, kinematics)
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to be responsible for a complete functional area of an application or product
  • Ability to analyze issues and develop effective tactical solutions and scalable processes
  • Meticulous attention to detail and skilled at balancing multiple projects in parallel without impacting the quality of deliverables
  • Experience designing and working with electronic circuits, and troubleshooting electronic signals for mechatronic applications
  • Experience with CAD tools
  • Experience with Machine Learning
  • In-depth understanding of iOS
