Overview As a Systems Senior Engineer, Fleet Readiness Research and Development, you will provide engineering and technical support for technology development and transition to SEA 05 and NAVSEA affiliated PEO's and Directorates including leading and overseeing major Navy and Command initiatives. Responsibilities Conduct research into Condition Based Maintenance data and examine for trends. Populate data into briefing for government customers Provide engineering and technical support for technology development and transition to SEA 05 and NAVSEA affiliated PEOs and Directorates including leading and overseeing major Navy and Command initiatives. Provide engineering support for systems, subsystems, components, and equipment which have reached TRL 8 will not be acquired under this contract unless specifically noted within this Performance Work Statement (PWS) and approved by the government contract program manager (SEA 05 CFO) and contracting officer at the Technical Instruction (TI) level. Develop, support, and review technical studies, analyses, proposals, roadmaps, and any other technical documentation. Participate on investigative technical review teams. Aid in problem identification and resolution. Undertake special engineering or technical studies in support of emerging ship and warfare systems related systems and equipment requirements, or to address fleet technical issues. Develop technical briefs to communicate advanced technological concepts, plans, issues, and findings to a wide range of stakeholders. Support design meetings, program reviews, close-out meetings, and conferences. Provide required technical assessments and information to IPTs, special advisory boards, off-sites, working groups and audit teams. Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or hard Science 5-15 years of relevant experience DoD Clearance Required Skills/Abilities: Experience with Condition Based Maintenance and shipboard 3-M Experience in data analytics and trend analysis Experience in basic MS Suite
