Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated and knowledgeable Systems or Software Engineers currently pursuing a university degree, but with prior hands-on experience in the automotive industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity to further build your skills by contributing to real-world automotive projects, working alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to system engineering tasks aligned with SYS.2, SYS.4, and SYS.5 activities, including requirement analysis, architecture, and integration planning.
  • Participate in embedded software development aligned with SWE.1 to SWE.6 stages, including design, implementation, testing, and verification.
  • Support development and execution of test procedures using HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) rigs and simulation platforms.
  • Assist in the development, review, and management of system/software requirements and test specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system and software consistency, quality, and traceability.
  • Understand and contribute to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) in accordance with automotive standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, etc.).
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the hardware development lifecycle in embedded environments and its relationship to software integration.
  • Participate in debugging, validation, and troubleshooting of embedded systems.
  • Contribute to documentation and internal process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry (internship, co-op, freelance, or professional).
  • Knowledge or experience in Systems Engineering processes (SYS.2, SYS.4, SYS.5).
  • Exposure to or experience with HIL rigs, test environments, or validation procedures.
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture, microcontrollers, and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS, FlexRay, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and processes from SWE.1 to SWE.6.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills & Additional Experience (Nice to Have):

  • Exposure to AUTOSAR Classic or Adaptive platforms.
  • Experience with tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, Vector tools, MATLAB/Simulink, JIRA, Polarion, DOORS.
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) or ASPICE process models.
  • Basic programming/scripting skills in C, Python, CAPL, or MATLAB.
  • Experience in debugging tools (Oscilloscopes, Debug Probes, Logic Analyzers).
  • Experience working with bootloaders, diagnostics stacks, or security modules.
