We are seeking an innovative and highly skilled Systems Support Scientific Lead – Infectious Diseases Pathology to drive advancements in laboratory processes, data management, and emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and big data. In this role, you will lead the implementation of automated systems, ensure data integrity, and apply coding expertise to develop cutting-edge solutions for data analysis and integration. You will play a key role in optimising laboratory workflows, enhancing diagnostic capabilities, and improving overall efficiency in infectious diseases pathology.
Working in close collaboration with the Directorate Manager, Laboratory Managers, and senior scientists, you will contribute to strategic planning, standardisation of procedures, performance monitoring, and regulatory compliance. As a MeS3-level Medical Scientist, you will provide leadership, mentorship, and coordination within your professional discipline while overseeing resource allocation and operational priorities.
