Required Qualifications and Experience If you are the right person for this position, you have experience implementing a variety of technologies and enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic environment. In addition, you should have the following:

  • Associate’s degree (Information Technology or related field). Equivalent experience or technical certifications may also be acceptable.
  • Strong understanding of phone, security camera, paging and door access systems.
  • Basic working knowledge of hand tools to securely mount equipment, including power drills and saws if necessary.
  • Experience performing physical installations, including mounting large displays and avoiding structural damage.
  • 2 + years of router/switch/firewall installation, configuration and maintenance experience (certification preferred).
  • 2 + years of MS PowerShell automation and script development experience.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail as well as organizational and analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

It will be your responsibility to install, configure, and upgrade our clients’ hardware and software systems. This may include workstations, servers, cloud servers, switches, routers, cameras, and door access systems.

The majority of your time will be spent at client sites performing physical installations and maintenance of network equipment. Configuration and staging of equipment will take place at our office prior to installation.

  • Configure, install, and support switches, firewalls, and access points in client environments.
  • Install, terminate, and organize network cabling, racks, TVs, and Conference room equipment.
  • Configure, install, and support phone systems, security cameras, paging system displays and speakers, and door access systems.
  • Provide technical support to the client at the network level.
  • Provide remote access solution implementation and support.
