Job Title: Systems and Test Engineer
Hiring Manager: Engineering Manager
Mission of the Position: The Systems and Test Engineer manages test equipment and measurement systems, covering development, installation, programming, maintenance, and validation. This role provides electronic, mechanical, software, and automation support for operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Expertise in electronics, mechanical systems, software, and automation.
  • Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining test equipment.
  • Strong project management and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with LabView or similar software.
  • Knowledge of SQA procedures and compliance.
  • Ability to train personnel and transition new processes to production.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.

  • Lead projects for test and measurement equipment development and installation.
  • Assemble, test, install, and validate equipment using formal processes.
  • Provide electronics, programming, and automation support from design to operation.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain test and measurement equipment.
  • Develop and transition new test processes and equipment to production.
  • Train production staff on test and measurement equipment usage.
  • Implement maintenance and calibration plans.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and vendors on test solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with Software Quality Assurance (SQA) procedures.
  • Manage test and measurement databases and analyze test data.
