KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

As Systems Verification Engineers your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with Test & Integration and other engineers on requirements engineering and V&V activities, contributing to the overall scope of VV&A deliverables.
  • Establishing a complete set of System Requirements for the assigned system, decomposing transverse requirements and rules into system requirements.
  • Linking system requirements to the correct document placeholders, defining verification cases (VeCs) in the VCRM, and specifying test specifications (TeCs) for physical tests.
  • Executing the correct Means of Compliance for systems within your scope and providing evidence of compliance.
  • Contributing to the process of agreeing on system specifications and the VCRM for assigned systems with the customer, as well as the progressive acceptance process.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

For the vacancies of Systems Verification Engineers we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering combined with experience in designing and engineering high-tech complex products.
  • Expertise in Configuration Management, Requirements Management, and Systems Engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with the VV&A process and working with class-regulated products.
  • Experience in dynamic mid-size project environments with high complexity, collaborating closely with project teams and customers.
  • Knowledge of Good Engineering Practices, including quality and budget awareness.
  • Fluency in English (both verbal and written) is required, with proficiency in Dutch and German considered advantageous.
  • Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates with EU (work) visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.

THE ROLE

Are you ready to make a significant impact as Systems Verification Engineer in the Verification, Validation, and Acceptance (VV&A) process within the prestigious F126 project at Damen Naval?
Damen Naval is seeking talented Systems Verification Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will play an essential role in ensuring compliance with set requirements, conducting document appraisals, design reviews, and overseeing the traceability of project deliverables from proposal to system acceptance. Reporting to the VV&A manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders to maintain the Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) and drive physical testing initiatives.
