Responsibilities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Join our growing Verification and Validation (V&V) team, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the V&V engineering environment and supporting incremental system verification for a high-profile defence program. As a System V&V Engineer, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and deliver system-level test activities and contribute to the development of a robust digital V&V framework.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the preparation of key V&V deliverables such as the V&V Plan, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM), and Acceptance Test Plans and Procedures
  • Design and document the V&V digital thread, supporting traceability from requirements through to test evidence
  • Plan, manage, and execute system-level verification activities across the engineering lifecycle
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Develop a deep understanding of the JABM system’s capabilities, architecture, and associated requirements

You are an experienced systems engineer with a passion for verification and validation and a strong background in Defence or other complex technical domains. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
  • Proven experience in systems engineering, integration, and V&V on complex systems
  • Knowledge in at least one of the following Defence domains: Command & Control, Command Support, or Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance
  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and experience using tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, and Engineering Test Management (ETM)
  • Experience working within an Agile (Scrum) development environment
  • Eligibility for an Australian NV-1 security clearance and ability to handle Export Controlled dat
