REQUIREMENTS

  • 4- 6 years of Singapore GST advisory experience within an international accounting firm, as part of an in-house tax team or IRAS
  • Previous Financial Services GST experience will be an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or other business-related field. An accreditation with SCTP would be an added advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical mind and meticulous
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
Responsibilities

WORK YOU’LL DO

The successful candidate will provide GST advisory and compliance services to our clients and work in a growing team dealing with a challenging area of tax, as well as managing issues ranging from routine compliance matters to complex cross-border transactions. This role will include managing client engagements, with direct reporting to Partners / Directors, providing tailored technical advice to clients on transactions, performing ASK / ACAP reviews, mentoring and developing junior staff, building internal and external relationships

  • Provide Indirect Tax advisory and compliance services to clients, ensuring effective navigation of GST-related matters in the Financial services industry
  • Work within a growing team, tackling the challenges of the dynamic indirect tax landscape
  • Manage a diverse range of issues, from routine compliance tasks to complex cross-border transactions
  • Perform other tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall success and development of the team
