We are seeking experienced T Repairs Electricians to join our team in Sydney CBD. This is a permanent position reporting to the T Project Manager, offering excellent career growth opportunities within a global leader in vertical transportation. About the Role As a T Repairs Electrician, you will work across various sites within the region, often moving locations daily or weekly. You’ll work independently or in small teams to install, modernise, and repair elevators and escalators, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities Install and run electrical cables within lift shafts Wire lift shafts and cars, and install car doors Connect motors and controllers, and rope lifts Troubleshoot electrical issues and follow installation manuals Communicate effectively with team members, managers, site managers, and contractors Comply with Environmental Health and Safety policies and report any hazards Maintain quality standards and identify process improvements Ensure compliance with relevant codes, including SAA Lift Code AS1735 and AS3000 Complete weekly timesheets accurately What We’re Looking For Electrical trade qualifications and experience on construction sites 2–5 years’ experience in the lift industry Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge of large equipment Ability to work autonomously or in a team Proven fault-finding and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Email, Internet) Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Benefits Robust compensation and benefits Career development through world-class learning programmes Work with a global leader in a role that makes a real impact Why OTIS?
