What You'll Do The incumbent in this position is responsible for supervising, monitoring, and controlling an assigned pit section consisting of one or more games to assure the delivery of customer service according corporate and property-specific standards, while maintaining the integrity of the games. What You'll Bring Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of Casino. Must be willing to work with all regulatory agencies, i.e., Gaming Commission, State, and Federal. Must learn and ensure policies and procedures are being followed per the departments’ Internal Controls and Spokane Tribe Casino Team Member Handbook. Must adhere to the customer service standards. Assume overall responsibility for the effective gaming service activities for a designated area or pit. Maintain constant awareness of activities of all games in assigned locations in order to observe and act appropriately in the event of any suspicious or irregular activity. Control and direct games in progress by monitoring and providing assistance and dealer correction. Maintain awareness of how each game stands with respect to player limits, special customers, gains/losses, and dealer performance. Oversee and assure high standards of customer courtesy on each game and works closely with casino staff members in this regard. Explain the benefits and advantages of having a players’ card and perform Club Card signups by collecting required information from guests to complete the players’ card registration process, including: Photo ID; Email address and ensure mailing address is current and accurate. Assist and make recommendations in regard to hiring, appraising, and disciplining of staff. Provide and monitor on-the-job training for Dealers to ensure staff receives adequate guidance, resources, and information for adequate job performance. Resolves customer complaints/disputes. Must be familiar with title 31 and ensure staff is current with training. Directly supervises the activities of all Employees in the Table Games department on assigned shift. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, directing work; evaluating performance, disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. In the absence of the manager other duties as assigned. Must have ability to: Communicate effectively with all levels of team members and customers. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Move around all work areas effectively and efficiently Able to work periodically under conditions of extreme urgency (creating higher levels of job stress) Perform other duties as assigned or required. Regulatory & Compliance Responsibilities Requires a minimum of 1 year of Table Games Experience. Must be trained and knowledgeable in all games offered by Spokane Tribe Casino (Roulette, Craps, Spanish, Blackjack, UTH, various carnival games) Supervisory experience in a live casino gaming facility required. Excellent Customer Service skills. Proven ability to lead, train and motivate employees. Ability to work independently and use good judgment. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Must be able to multi-task Must have computer experience. Sound technical understanding of Table Games Internal Controls, policies, procedures, compact requirements and the Employee Handbook. Knowledge of and ability to identify various scams and cheating techniques. Must be able to maintain confidential information. Strong guest service and problem-solving skills. Able to Multitask in a fast-paced environment Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain STATE OR TRIBAL Gaming License.
