Description

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS AN ENERGETIC PROFESSIONAL WITH PROVEN KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, EXECUTING THE FOLLOWING IN SUPPORT OF THE COMPANY’S VISION, MISSION AND VALUES:

  • Provides exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers in an upbeat, positive and professional manner;
  • Performs general and/or preventative maintenance and repairs on all table games parts and equipment, including but not limited to table repairs, table layout replacement, maintain Shuffle machines and Roulette Chipping Machines and electronic table displays;
  • Provides daily shift report to all maintenance work performed, equipment malfunctions and corrective actions taken to the Table Games Operations Manager or designate at the end of each shift;
  • Maintains accurate Pit Maintenance Logs for all repairs and replacements of table games equipment;
  • Responds to service requirements within the gaming department in a prompt and professional manner;
  • Responsible for a complete inventory of equipment and supplies for the Gaming Department;
  • Respond to service requirements within the gaming dept based on a priority protocol.
  • Inspect work area daily and report any hazards immediately;
  • Perform other maintenance/repair or other duties for the Gaming Department as required/assigned by the Table Games Operations Manager or designee;
  • Assists in the routine cleaning and sanitization of production areas in accordance with established cleaning standards and schedules;
  • Assists and shares maintenance knowledge and best practices with other co-workers as needed;
  • Adheres to all AGCO, GCGC, departmental and HR policies as they relate to functions of the role;
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations;Performs other duties as assigned by management.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have formal education in the areas of Electronics, Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering and/or equivalent working experience in a related field;
  • Strong technical knowledge and working experience in all areas of maintenance repairs including electrical, mechanical, carpentry and electronics;
  • Previous experience in troubleshooting and repairing table games parts and equipment an asset;
  • Knowledge of gaming related maintenance practices as well as mechanical and electrical gaming devices preferred;
  • Strong understanding of health and safety and complies with all health and safety regulations;
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, teamwork, customer service and communication skills;
  • Proactive and solution oriented with a drive to succeed;
  • Demonstrate strong initiative, active listening and teamwork skills;
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with fellow employees and management as part of a team;
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;Ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
