We are currently looking for an experienced Tack Truck operator to work seasonally in a full-time capacity, in various locations throughout Edmonton. The successful candidate must be able to align with the company's core values: Commitment, Attitude and Respect. Responsibilities: * Drive Tack truck in the most efficient & safest manner following Transportation driving laws Solves problems by considering courses of action within the framework of management goals and objectives * Must be able to perform necessary pre/post trip inspections on vehicles * Works with company to ensure safety compliance is adhered to at all times in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety and National Safety Council * Understands & follows 100% compliance with company, federal and provincial safety policies and regulations * Attend and contribute to weekly safety meetings Qualifications: * Minimum 2 year of experience driving commercial trucks and 1 year experience driving Tack Truck * Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license (with air endorsement) with a clean drivers abstract * Minimum High School education or equivalent * Pre-Trip & Fatigue Management Experience training * Ability to work continuously for prolonged periods of time under pressure * High attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to follow directions * Ability to work in varying weather conditions * Ability to work independently with little supervision * Familiarity & Experience with city driving and surrounding areas * Willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends * Valid safety certifications Additional Information: * This is a seasonal position and starts in spring of every year * This position is eligible for over-time * Some travel outside of Edmonton may be required * Training will be provided for various activities * We offer excellent wages and benefit eligibility after 3 months in which you may continue your benefits during the winter months (off season) * Potential on call work during the winter months during snow removal and early spring sweeping season * Seasonal work; Long hours; 6-7 days/week at peak season (Weekends as well) We are an equal opportunity employer. Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate a Tack truck while adhering to transportation laws and company safety policies. Perform necessary vehicle inspections and contribute to weekly safety meetings to ensure OH&S compliance.
