Must be minimum 18 years of age and provide a criminal check upon request.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats
- Respond promptly to incidents and alarms, taking appropriate action as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure compliance with security protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when required
- Write detailed reports on incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts
Skills:
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with law enforcement practices and regulations
- Strong observation skills with the ability to identify suspicious activities or behavior
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Good physical condition, as the role may require standing, walking, or patrolling for extended periods
Note: Prior experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
