Summary:
The Tactical Tailor Customer Service, and Shipping and Receiving Clerk assist customers by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing information about products or service is a vital part of the shipping team, as well as ensure that Tactical Tailor products are accounted for and shipped to customers accurately and in an acceptable time frame.
Typical Responsibilities:

General:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in-person, addressing concerns or questions promptly.
  • Resolve complaints, process orders, returns, or exchanges, and provide product/service information.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update account information in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with team members or other departments to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering professional, courteous, and efficient service.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products/services when appropriate.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Pick, pack, and label orders based on customer requirements and shipping documents.
  • Verify order accuracy by cross-checking items against packing lists or invoices.
  • Prepare shipping documents, such as bills of lading, labels, and customs forms for domestic or international shipments.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, following safety protocols.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Assist with receiving incoming shipments, inspecting goods, and storing them in designated areas.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily shipping goals and deadlines.
  • Support other warehouse tasks or departments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Able to lift 50lb boxes and reach overhead
  • Physically able to walk, stand, and lift for long periods of time
  • Prior warehouse knowledge a plus
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft suite and ability to learn new software programs
  • Ability to analyze issues and provide quick, effective solutions.
  • Active listening and understanding to address customer needs with care.
  • Remaining calm and professional, especially with frustrated or difficult customers.

  • Managing multiple customer interactions or tasks efficiently under pressure.
