POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Taekwondo Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Taekwondo training and coaching, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with children and adults alike. This role also requires basic computer proficiency and a customer-oriented mindset, as well as experience in fitness management or training.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2-year college degree (Associate’s or equivalent).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of Taekwondo coaching or teaching experience.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, and basic software tools).
  • Experience in fitness training or fitness management is a plus.
  • Must enjoy working with children and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Black belt certification in Taekwondo (Kukkiwon preferred).
Responsibilities
  • Conduct Taekwondo classes for students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Create lesson plans that align with the academy’s curriculum and values.
  • Ensure student safety and discipline during classes.
  • Motivate and mentor students to help them achieve their personal best.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff.
  • Assist in event planning (belt tests, tournaments, demonstrations).
  • Manage attendance and student progress using academy software.
  • Support front desk and customer service activities as needed.
