ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Continuing, Full-Time (36.25 hours per week)
• School of Trades
• CQUniversity Rockhampton (Relocation support available)
• Total Remuneration $120,134 to $133,098 pa (including salary of $101,515 to $112,470 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading) – with the opportunity for overtime
• Equivalent Hourly Rate: $53.66 to $59.46 per hour
• Progression beyond Teacher Step 4 will only occur if an approved teaching qualification has been obtained

CQUniversity is on the lookout for industry pros who want to get off the tools – at least to some extent – and get into teaching. You will provide training in a broad range of tasks on various light vehicles for the Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, equipping students with the practical skills needed for success in the industry.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Possession of a relevant qualification in mechanical technology or similar.
• Willingness to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122), if not already completed.
• Knowledge of the education and training sector and the ability to positively respond to new directions and demands of the training market.
• Demonstrated current industry skills directly relevant to the training/assessment being delivered.
