Description
Position Overview This role will assist in directing and advising design consultants, permitting teams, and project teams to ensure TSF designs meet both International and National Standards. You will also be involved in 3D modelling of preliminary TSF design drawings, including supporting infrastructures. Responsibilities Provide technical advice and review related to TSF design and implementation Involve in review of geotechnical investigation, geomorphology of TSF, hydrology and hydrogeology, value added on review site specific refer to requirement of Indonesia technical guideline for dams Review and Support the development of construction sequences, QA/QC plans, and technical specifications Conduct and review stability analysis for embankments and tailings deposition plans Ensure compliance with Indonesia Regulation, GISTM, ICOLD/ANCOLD, Indonesian Tailings Dam Guidelines, Standard National Indonesia (SNI) Support permitting and compliance activities related to B3 hazardous materials for technical aspect Collaborate with consultants and internal teams for design and project execution of TSF facility Technical adviser on civil/geotechnical engineering of Projects within Merdeka Group Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering (Masters preferred) Minimum 10 years experience with 5 years of experience in Tailings Storage Facility and Infrastructure projects Understanding of geotechnical modelling and TSF design standards Advanced proficiency in 12D or Civil 3D, MS Excel, and PowerPoint Good understanding of B3 hazardous material regulations Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (English proficiency is a must) Possession of Large Dam Certification is an advantage
Responsibilities
Direct and advise design consultants to ensure Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) designs meet international and national standards. Perform 3D modelling, stability analysis, and technical reviews of geotechnical and hydrological investigations.
