Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwide Learning programs through our Academies and the opportunity to earn qualifications while you work Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world Ability to make a difference in the local community through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21 Job Description Reporting to the Senior Laundry Supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service To fix and repair linen., uniforms, drapery, etc Minor mending or alterations to Guest garments To ensure repairs are made in a timely fashion To make sure workplace is orderly kept and surfaces are cleaned daily To assist with inventories when required Helps out on other duties deemed necessary within linen/laundry area Report to Supervisor any equipment malfunctioning, or anything which may be a Health & Safety hazard Attend any training courses given by Housekeeping/Human Resources Department To make sure all Health and Safety matters are observed Qualifications High School diploma, vocational training and/or 1 year work experience Fluency in ***local language*** essential Basic understanding of the English language desirable Ability to lift/carry requirements up to 25 lbs.
