OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to join our team in a well established breakfast and lunch takeaway business. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and hospitality, demonstrating strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations within the kitchen and serving areas. The role will be a minimum of 18 hours over 3-4 days.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous takeaway experience is highly desirable, particularly in a kitchen or serving role.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is essential.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
  • Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
  • Experience in food preparation or culinary roles will be an advantage.
  • A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with customers positively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in the culinary field while contributing to a vibrant team atmosphere.
