Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist Department: Human Resources Department Reports To: HR Manager FLSA Status: Exempt   Position Overview:    The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for proactively sourcing, screening, and recommending qualified candidates for internal positions across multiple locations. This role focuses on building robust talent pipelines and ensuring a strong flow of high-quality candidates to meet ongoing hiring needs.   The ideal candidate is an organized and resourceful recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple open positions across various states. This individual will leverage multiple recruiting platforms, networks, and strategies to identify both active and passive talent, ensuring that Yates Industries attracts the best candidates available.   This position does not include onboarding or post-offer activities — the primary emphasis is on strategic sourcing, headhunting, candidate engagement, and pre-screening. All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate.   Essential Duties: (Additional duties may be assigned as required.) * Manage the full life cycle recruiting process to meet staffing goals across all levels of the organization — including sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting phone interviews, and coordinating on-site interviews with hiring managers. * Partner closely with managers and supervisors to identify staffing needs and ensure all requisitions are filled in a timely, compliant manner in accordance with federal, state, and local employment laws. * Consult with hiring managers to identify the most qualified candidates, assist in offer development, and extend offers to selected individuals when appropriate. * Utilize both traditional and creative sourcing methods — including job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, social media campaigns, and employee referrals — to build strong candidate pipelines. * Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute recruitment marketing materials such as job flyers, graphics, and social media advertisements. * Plan, coordinate, and attend career fairs and hiring events at company facilities and within local communities to attract diverse talent. * Provide guidance and training to management regarding interviewing techniques and best hiring practices. * Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements. * Demonstrate strong knowledge of the company’s industry, competitive environment, and market trends to inform recruiting strategies. * Ensure all recruiting practices adhere to EEO, HIPAA, ERISA, and other applicable employment regulations.   Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed above, and below, are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   Language Ability: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
