As we continue our journey in helping all Australians, we now have a newly created opportunity a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our People and Culture team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent for The Reject Shop in the Store Operations Network. This position involves partnering with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, screening CV’s in volume and ensuring a positive candidate experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate is able to own their divisions and support hiring managers with the ability to identify top talent through passive searching. This role is in a high volume, fast paced environment and ideally suited to someone who has recruited in operational roles.

THE PREFERRED CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Demonstrated recruitment experience from a retail agency environment or retail internal recruitment role.
  • Experience using online advertising platforms.
  • Experience using ATS platform – preferably PageUp.
  • A strong knowledge of recruitment within the retail sector.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure, multitask and manage multiple expectations from Hiring Managers.
  • Track record of achieving KPI’s.
  • A passion and drive for delivering exceptional candidate care and a quality recruitment experience every time.

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilise various sourcing methods including online channels, social platforms, and professional networks to find the best candidate for the role ensuring that you understand the job profile.
  • Screening and interviewing: Conduct initial screening, coordinate interviews, reference checks and candidate conversations at pace.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience that reflects the values of TRS by building relationships with external talent and developing future talent pools.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and report on recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of hiring strategies and processes. Ensure to recruit to SLA’s.
