About the Opportunity:

We are excited to introduce a newly created opportunity for a Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist to join our growing People & Culture team.

This is a key role for someone who is passionate about connecting great people with great opportunities and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

As one of two Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialists, you will work collaboratively with our People & Culture team and hiring managers to deliver a high-quality, end-to-end recruitment and onboarding experience.

From understanding workforce needs and developing attraction strategies through to coordinating interviews, employment offers, pre-employment requirements and onboarding, you will play an important role in helping Strike Force Services attract, engage and, successfully welcome new employees into our organisation. You'll also have the opportunity to build strong relationships across the business, contribute to improving our recruitment processes and candidate experience, and support initiatives that strengthen our future workforce.


What You’ll Be Doing:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and provide advice and support throughout the recruitment process.
  • Developing and coordinating recruitment campaigns across a range of sourcing channels.
  • Preparing and publishing engaging job advertisements.
  • Proactively sourcing and engaging suitable candidates.
  • Managing multiple recruitment activities and vacancies through our recruitment systems.
  • Coordinating shortlisting, interviews and selection activities.
  • Supporting hiring managers with recruitment processes and selection approaches.
  • Coordinating pre-employment requirements, employment offers and associated documentation.
  • Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Officers to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding and induction experience.
  • Building and maintaining talent pipelines to support future workforce requirements.
  • Developing strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers and external recruitment and employment providers.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve recruitment, onboarding and candidate experience.
  • Maintaining accurate recruitment and onboarding records and contributing to reporting and workforce initiatives.


What We’re Looking For:

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and people-focused, with a genuine passion for recruitment and delivering a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

You will ideally bring:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end recruitment and selection within an internal talent acquisition, recruitment or human resources environment.
  • Experience managing multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
  • Experience coordinating recruitment activities, including pre-employment requirements, employment offers and onboarding.
  • Confidence partnering with and supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • A sound understanding of contemporary recruitment and selection practices.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, HR systems and Microsoft Office applications – Experience with Employment Hero highly regarded
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with strong computer literacy and confidence using a range of software and systems.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to build positive working relationships with people at all levels of an organisation.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • The ability to manage confidential information with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement.
