About the role
We are recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Assistant to provide primary assistance for recruitment across the NFP Group ensuring the recruitment process provides a positive applicant experience. Additionally, you will support the general HR team with administrative duties.
Overview of duties
Assisting with the full recruitment process from start to finish
Writing job adverts and posting on website, job sites and social media as well as monitoring response rates
Actively monitor and manage applications
Telephone screening of candidates, creating shortlists, and rejecting the unsuccessful candidates
Working with HR team to send job offer letter and contracts of employment
Assisting with the recruitment of direct candidates to reduce costs to the business
Managing the internal ATS
Contribute to the growth of a strong candidate talent pool / pipeline
Coordination and management of all onboarding and offboarding, including liaison across divisions such as technology, arrangement of induction and training, distribution and collection of all starter documentation such as references and right to work checks. Use of NFP HR information system
Keeping accurate and up-to-date recruitment records
Considering creative solutions to attract the right applicants, such as use of LinkedIn, networking and headhunting
Act as a brand ambassador for NFP, to confidently reach out to candidates to talk about our culture, our vacancies and opportunities
HR administration support as and when required
Person specification

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Has strong written and verbal communication skills
Worked in a recruitment environment and will be familiar with recruiting techniques and interview techniques as well as use of job boards and LinkedIn to attract applicants
Ideally be experienced over multiple sectors
Confident to pick up the phone and be proactive
Demonstrate an understanding of legalities around Right to Work
Able to complete and maintain accurate records, maintaining confidentiality at all times
Is highly organised and able to prioritise
Has the ability to build relationships at all levels
Education / and or Experience
BA or BS degree preferred or equivalent experience in recruitment
Experience with an ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter and other job boards
Key Information
Hours: Monday – Friday, 35 Hours
Location: Bromsgrove, hybrid
