Description

The Talent Acquisition Consultant supporting Nurse Recruiting will serve as a strategic partner to nursing leadership, collaborating closely with business units to identify, define, and fulfill current and future clinical workforce needs. This individual will implement innovative sourcing strategies, assess internal and external nursing talent, and play a critical role in building a sustainable, high-quality nursing pipeline. Success in this role requires strong collaboration with nursing leadership, HR partners, and operational teams to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and patient care standards.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 years of proven nurse recruitment experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software, and candidate databases.
  • Experience with sourcing tools and methods.
  • In-depth knowledge of the healthcare market and talent landscape
  • Experience with educating and influencing all stake holders

Responsibilities
  • Partner with nursing and operational leadership to understand strategic priorities, workforce planning objectives, and clinical hiring needs.
  • Collaborate with internal talent acquisition team members to develop and execute targeted nurse recruitment strategies.
  • Define role criteria, craft comprehensive position descriptions, and document accurate job specifications in alignment with regulatory and clinical standards.
  • Source, assess, and present highly qualified nursing candidates, ensuring alignment with both technical competencies and the organization’s mission-driven culture.
  • Deliver detailed candidate summaries and coordinate the full-cycle interview and selection process with hiring teams.
  • Guide candidates and hiring managers through offer negotiations, pre-boarding, and post-offer engagement to ensure a seamless hiring experience.
  • Support a high-touch onboarding and transition process to drive retention and early-stage engagement.
  • Cultivate strong candidate relationships and proactively build talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and high-volume nurse roles.
  • Stay informed on healthcare industry hiring trends, labor market conditions, and talent acquisition best practices.
  • Leverage a wide range of sourcing channels, tools, and digital platforms to attract passive and active nurse talent.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance rates.
  • Actively contribute to team initiatives, meetings, and cross-functional goals within the broader HR and clinical operations framework.
  • Attend local, regional, national hiring events, and industry conferences to represent Atlantic Health System and expand talent reach.
  • This is a hybrid role with an expectation of up to four days in-office per week, based on evolving business needs.
