Due to internal progression the Talent Acquisition team at Unum UK are looking for the fourth member of our team.
As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will be responsible for partnering with the business to understand their needs, and use a variety of innovative and traditional sourcing strategies to deliver top talent, who want to part of our journey in delivering business growth, to start with you will be hiring into our Customer Service teams, so knowledge of cohort volume hiring or experience within Customer Service, with a passion to learn would be ideal.

Important for us are:
Your stakeholder engagement skills. We need you to pro-actively partner with the business working with them to understand the challenges and opportunities within their areas, you’ll be able to influence stakeholders around to your way of thinking to try new and different ways to recruit, and most importantly you will keep your stakeholders upto date.
Your recruiting abilities . Your direct sourcing skills will be top notch (or you won’t be afraid to learn, which includes being proactive and jumping on the phone) and you’ll be able to develop creative ways of recruiting hard to fill roles. You will also have fantastic organisation skills, being able to juggle many tasks at once and be delivery focused. And you’ll be able to demonstrate how you’ve considered I&D and supported Early Talent into the workplace in your roles.
Your systems adoption . You need to be used to using systems, data and AI tools, as these will be a living tools for you constantly.
Alongside all of that you will be someone who passionate and takes the initiative and takes control of their own work and development, who is a team player, who has a fresh perspective of doing things better, as you’ll lead on improvement projects alongside your day job.
As a team we typically collaborate in the Basingstoke and Dorking offices several times a month, travel to both sites will be required.
