About the Role We are seeking an experienced contract Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our HR team for a 3–4 month engagement at a minimum. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our hiring efforts by managing the early stages of the recruitment pipeline — from application review through candidate screening — while also assisting with hiring administration. You will work closely with and report directly to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor. Key Responsibilities Review incoming applications and screen resumes to identify qualified candidates that align with role requirements and team needs. Schedule and conduct phone screens to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and overall fit prior to presenting them to hiring managers. Assist with processing hiring paperwork including offer letters, background check initiation, and new hire onboarding tasks. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and requisition statuses within the applicant tracking system (ATS). Provide regular pipeline updates and status reports to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor. Perform other recruiting duties as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Supervisor. Requirements 1–3 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, in-house or agency. Proven experience conducting phone screens and managing candidate pipelines. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), Paylocity is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, candidate-friendly approach. Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Experience with background check platforms and offer letter processing is a plus.
