Description
Company Description For more than 20 years, KordaMentha has supported businesses through some of their most complex matters and opportunities. Founder owned and led; we are an advisory firm that helps corporations, financiers, lawyers, private investors and government clients to grow, protect and recover value. That’s what we do, but it’s how we do this that makes us who we are. Proudly independent, strategically local, and with a bias for action to get things done, we focus on doing what is right by our clients, our people, and the wider community. Our track record shows that we help navigate the best path forward in challenging times, and do so across cities, regions and territories. In the most stressful or demanding environments, we continue to drive change where it really counts. Job Description As KordaMentha continues to grow, so does our People & Culture team. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our national team in Sydney and play a key role in helping us attract exceptional talent across the business. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their Talent Acquisition career who is looking to move beyond administration and take ownership of recruitment processes from start to finish. Working alongside experienced Talent Acquisition and People & Culture professionals, you'll have the opportunity to build your recruitment expertise, partner directly with hiring managers, and gain exposure to a broad range of hiring activities, including graduate recruitment, candidate sourcing, stakeholder management, employer branding, and talent attraction projects. You'll be trusted to manage your own workload, take increasing ownership of recruitment campaigns, and contribute ideas that help shape how we attract and engage talent. If you're proactive, curious, and eager to learn, this role offers a genuine pathway to develop into a Talent Acquisition professional within a growing business. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for selected roles, including advertising, screening, interview coordination, offers, and onboarding. Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and help build talent pipelines across key business areas. Create and manage vacancies within our applicant tracking system and across external job boards. Support and progressively take ownership of annual graduate and vacationer recruitment programs. Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and deliver a positive recruitment experience. Review, screen, and shortlist candidates in line with role requirements. Coordinate psychometric assessments, reference checks, and employment contracts. Participate in interviews and develop confidence in candidate assessment and stakeholder discussions. Attend university events, careers fairs, and networking initiatives as a representative of the firm. Contribute to employer branding and talent attraction activities. Support broader People & Culture initiatives and administration, gaining exposure to the full employee lifecycle. Qualifications 1–3 years' experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR, or a related coordination role. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities. A genuine interest in developing a career in Talent Acquisition. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with confidence engaging with a range of stakeholders. Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously. Proactive, resourceful, and eager to take ownership of your work. Comfortable working independently while also collaborating as part of a supportive team. Strong administrative and technology skills, including the Microsoft Office suite. A growth mindset and willingness to learn new skills and recruitment methodologies.
