Talent Acquisition Coordinator - Perth

We’re building on the strong foundations of how we attract and welcome talent – because we know that every interaction matters.

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Talent team on a 6-month, full-time maximum term contract. In this role, you’ll be the engine behind a smooth and human hiring experience – helping ensure every recruitment journey, from first contact to first day, runs seamlessly.

If you love the details, thrive on keeping things organised, and care deeply about creating meaningful candidate experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Role in Action

  • Be the first friendly face, voice (or inbox) for candidates and hiring leaders – managing the recruitment mailbox and providing prompt, helpful responses.
  • Keep things running smoothly by allocating requisitions and supporting key admin tasks like scheduling interviews, managing approvals, and resolving systems issues.
  • Post and edit job ads and ensure they’re live and up to date, reflecting our inclusive and values-driven culture.
  • Help new starters feel welcome from the very start – coordinating onboarding steps, pre-employment checks, contracts, and documentation with care and attention.
  • Maintain real-time accuracy across systems, trackers, and files – you’ll be the detail-focused engine behind a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Support hiring leaders and Talent Acquisition Partners in delivering meaningful, people-first hiring moments.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • You’ve supported a busy Talent Acquisition or HR team before (or something similar) and know how to juggle priorities with calm confidence.
  • You get recruitment – whether it’s systems, processes, or compliance – and you enjoy keeping things moving behind the scenes.
  • You’re tech-savvy, with experience using recruitment platforms and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • You’ve completed Year 12 (or equivalent) and bring strong written and verbal communication skills.

Most importantly, you care about people and purpose – and it shows in the way you work.By joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future. We are dedicated to fostering career development and promoting a healthy work-life balance, empowering you to drive innovation as we develop a network that will serve the Western Australian community for generations. You will also benefit from a range of perks and opportunities, including:

  • Over 50% of our employment opportunities are driven by career progression.
  • Flexible work arrangements to support part time work, working hours and working from home arrangements.
  • Access to salary packaging, social club activities, and discounted health insurance and gym membership.
  • An award-winning employee recognition and benefits programme.
  • An innovative team culture that’s enabling the transition to renewable energy and decarbonisation.
  • In addition to standard leave, enjoy three wellness leave days each year.

Applications close on 6 October 2026.

We value diversity and inclusivity, encouraging applications from all backgrounds, including women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and LGBTQIA+ communities.

As a WORK180-endorsed employer for women, we are proud of our commitment to inclusion.
