Description

DESCRIPTION

At Carma, we’re more than just a car company, we’re on a mission to shake up the Australian automotive industry! As a digital pre-owned car dealership, we’re turning the car buying and selling experience into a hassle-free, seamless journey that customers can truly enjoy. With our diverse and collaborative team managing everything from engineering to marketing and buying to reconditioning in-house, we’re powered by the best people and we’d love for you to come along for the ride.
We’re looking for a hands-on Talent Acquisition Lead to take charge of the day-to-day running of our TA function at Carma on a 15 month fixed-term contract! You’ll be hiring everything from mechanics to marketing specialists, managing the talent team, keeping our processes sharp, and marking sure the wheels keep turning smoothly.
If you love fast-paced environments, get a kick out of variety, and are just as happy running interviews as you are keeping an eye on compliance, you’ll fit right in!

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day hiring across a wide range of roles (from blue collar to white collar and everything in between - our workforce is very varied)!
  • Roll up your sleeves and own hiring processes for all sorts of roles across the business, including senior hires.
  • Lead, coach and develop our small and dynamic in-house talent team members.
  • Manage onboarding, employment contracts, compliance and recruitment related systems.
  • Drive employer branding and amazing candidate experience across the full talent acquisition lifecycle.
  • Partner with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to plan and deliver great hires for Carma.
  • Run a smooth talent function - from resource planning, requisition through to offer and onboarding.
  • Own talent reporting, driving process and operational improvements from data driven insights.
  • Work closely with the wider people team, to jump in and support where required.
