JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is a fast-growing fintech startup headquartered in Hong Kong, focused on disrupting traditional financial services through digital innovation. Backed by reputable investors and experiencing rapid growth, they are now looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to build a strong talent pipeline and scale the team across functions. The Talent Acquisition Lead will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, developing sourcing strategies, and building the employer brand in a competitive fintech talent market. You will play a pivotal role in partnering with leadership to attract top-tier talent across engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
  • At least 8 years of recruitment experience, with at least 2+ years in an in-house role at a fast-growing startup or tech/fintech firm
  • Proven success in hiring for both tech and non-tech roles
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels
  • Hands-on, resourceful, and data-driven mindsetFluent in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and drive end-to-end recruitment for roles across all functions in Hong Kong and potentially other regional offices
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies for both technical and business roles
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, build job descriptions, and align on hiring plans
  • Manage the candidate experience to ensure a high-quality and engaging process
  • Build a strong talent pipeline through networking, direct sourcing, job boards, and employee referrals
  • Implement and optimize recruiting processes, tools, and systems (ATS, dashboards, etc.)
  • Lead employer branding initiatives in partnership with marketing and HR to position the company as a top startup employer
  • Monitor key recruiting metrics and provide hiring insights to leadershipStay updated on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent movements within the fintech sector
