You’ll spearhead the adaptation and implementation of Alstom’s global talent acquisition strategy within the Americas Region (12 countries, 12,000 employees), with a strong focus on hiring performance and change management as well as stakeholders’ engagement.
You will lead, coach and inspire and expert talent acquisition team on a full hiring scope including Engineers & management levels, Blue collars and Contingent workforce across our 3 business lines and 90 sites while ensuring end-to-end recruitment efficacy. In this role, you lead a team of 21, report to the Vice-President Human Resources for AMERICAS (based in Montreal) and to the Global Talent Acquisition Director (based in Paris).

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with teams across the business (HR Directors, Product Lines / Site Business Leaders, Procurement, Communication, Finance) to define and deploy regional talent acquisition strategies relevant to the Americas’ Region current and future workforce needs.
  • Partner with Business / HR leadership to identify and adjust annual recruitment plans and drive continuous process to continuously increase hiring performance.
  • Build a resourcing plan and budget to best support business needs
  • Help accelerate our gender diversity ambition by promoting skills-based hiring practices across the organization and deploy supportive programs to attract and retain women talent across our sites
  • Contribute to localize Alstom’s new employer brand strategies through various on-line channels, including social media, job fairs, and networking events. Ensure a positive candidate experience is offered throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and timely hiring performance, supporting the digital roadmap orientation, process and tool adoption strategies.
  • Is able to propose, deploy and adapt the right organizational talent acquisition set-up to best support our business and siteLead change management initiatives to align stakeholders with the new talent acquisition ambition as part of our “Attract” strategic pillar of our HR strategy.
