ABOUT THIS POSITION
The City of Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a strategic and collaborative Talent Acquisition Manager to serve as a key member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team. In this role, you will report to the Deputy HR Director over Talent Acquisition and provide strategic oversight for key priorities regarding citywide recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for finding and hiring the best talent, a strategic mindset, and the ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.

PAY RANGE EXPLANATION:
- Pay range is the entire compensation range for the position classification.
- Hiring range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.
Internal Only: Please understand that this is pay grade 069. If selected, your salary offer will be based on the applicable promotion or demotion worksheet in accordance with the City Pay Ordinance.
- Promotions occur when the last two digits of the pay grade increase.
- Demotions occur when the last two digits of the pay grade decrease.
- Lateral transfers occur when there is no change to the last two digits of the pay grade.
- When there is a change in the first digit of the pay grade, there may also be a change to your classification or unit.

HUMAN RESOURCES SUPERVISOR:
- Five years of professional human resources management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, public or business administration, or a related field.
- Other combinations of education and experience that meet the minimum qualifications may be substituted.

- Three years of professional human resources management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, public or business administration, or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:
- Recent experience directly leading Talent Acquisition efforts.
- Experience with an applicant tracking system (e.g., PeopleSoft) implementation, enhancements, and/or system testing.
- Experience creating and implementing process improvements or efficiencies.
- Experience successfully implementing training initiatives related to improving understanding and awareness of HR programs.
- Strong analytical, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and project management skills.
