What you’ll actually do (day to day reality): Hiring & Execution Personally close critical and leadership roles Keep roles moving daily (not “checking in next week”) Turn vague asks into clear hiring plans Team Management Lead and grow a TA team Minimum 3 years of people management experience required Coach recruiters on judgment, not just sourcing Set clear expectations: Output > Activity Stakeholder Management Partner closely with Hiring Managers and leaders Push back when role definitions are weak Help leaders hire better, not just faster Process, Data & Tools Build simple, strong interview processes Track what matters, fix what breaks Use AI and tools to save time, not outsource thinking What You Need to Bring Must Haves 10-12 years in Talent Acquisition (B2B SaaS preferred) 3+ years managing recruiters Experience hiring senior IC's and leaders Comfort with numbers, funnels and outcomes Strong execution muscle (strategy is useless without this) Nice to Haves Built hiring systems during scale or chaos Can say “no” politely, and mean it Strong POV on why hiring is broken today Because Life’s Too Short For Boring Jobs Take time off when you need it. Responsibilities
The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for hiring and executing recruitment strategies, personally closing critical and leadership roles while ensuring roles are actively managed. They will also lead and grow a talent acquisition team, coach recruiters, and partner with hiring managers to improve hiring processes.
