Talent Acquisition Partner (1-Year Contract) Job Description Work Location: Onsite - Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Contract Duration: 1 Year (with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs). About the Role: Brooks is a prominent leader in the Semiconductor industry, well-known for our innovative technology and sustainable solutions. As part of our strategic expansion in Malaysia, we are seeking junior Recruiter to join our Talent Attraction team based in JB. This role is ideal for individuals with 3-5 years of recruitment experience in a Manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on TA administration. You will play a vital role in supporting high-volume recruitment efforts for manufacturing and operations roles at our Greenfield production facility in Johor Bahru. Language Requirements: Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English & Malay. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Sourcing: Support high-volume hiring roles such as Operators, Technicians, and other factory-based positions. Leverage job boards, social media, vocational schools, and employee referrals to build a strong talent pipeline. Participate in job fairs and other recruitment events to attract candidates. Conduct initial screenings and manage candidate records in the Workday (ATS). Partner with hiring managers and HR to align recruitment efforts with workforce needs. Administrative Support for Talent Acquisition: Manage job postings on various platforms, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and legal standards. Coordinate interview schedules, candidate communications, and related logistics. Assist with interview scheduling, onboarding documentation, background checks, and reference verifications. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to Malaysian employment laws and company policies. Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment progress and metrics. Onboarding Support: Coordinate with HR to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, including handling necessary paperwork and orientation logistics. Ad Hoc Tasks: Support other TA or HR projects as assigned. Qualifications & Competencies: Experience: 3-5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in high-volume hiring within a Manufacturing or Factory environment -- Agency recruiters looking to move in-house are welcome to apply. Previous experience in blue-collar recruitment is highly desirable. Strong administrative and coordination abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Proficient in using Workday (preferred) or other Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR systems and Microsoft Office tools. Well-versed with Malaysian employment laws and TA best practices.
