Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our vibrant AIMCo team in Edmonton or Calgary. If you’re a people person with an eye for talent and love the thrill of matching the right person to the right job, then we’re looking for you!
In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of our hiring process for experienced hires, mainly focusing on investment and risk roles. You’ll work closely with leaders to understand their talent needs, actively source for top talent, ensure all practices align with our strategy, manage candidate relationships and ensure a smooth hiring process.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with AIMCo Business Partners and key internal leaders to understand the workforce plan and develop proactive sourcing strategies
  • Collaborate with leaders to understand role requirements, identify potential challenges and develop effective talent strategies
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods to source and attract quality candidates
  • Conduct interviews and screening calls with potential candidates and partner with the leader on hiring recommendations
  • Coordinate and lead interviews with hiring managers, provide insight on candidates and recommendations on top candidate
  • Provide feedback to applicants on their interview performance and overall application
  • Stay updated on recruitment trends and best practices in all things talent
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of open positions
  • Be the in-house expert on Linked In
  • Continually enhance the AIMCo brand by providing a top-notch candidate experience

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field
  • Proficiency in Workday is essential
  • Minimum of seven years experience in corporate recruiting top talent.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to AIMCo’s core values of excellence, transparency, humility, integrity and collaboration, and inspires the same in others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization and multitasking abilities - there’s never a dull moment in recruitment
  • Experience with various interview formats. Think phone, Teams, structured, panel interviews, in person … you name it, we do it
