  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, ideally in the mining, energy, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment tools, strategies, and techniques, including social media, job boards, and networking.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and effectively prioritize.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Australia
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and talent acquisition challenges.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

This role will provide you with the opportunity to shape our client’s workforce, build strong relationships with hiring managers, and be a key player in the company’s growth and success. You will manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of positions within the mining operations, corporate functions, and technical departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with hiring managers to define recruitment needs, job requirements, and candidate profiles.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent for a range of roles across the company.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing guidance on recruitment best practices and workforce planning.
  • Manage candidate pipelines, ensuring timely communication and a positive experience for all applicants.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, recruitment best practices, and competitor hiring strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to support workforce planning and diversity initiatives.
  • Act as an ambassador promoting the company values and culture to potential candidates.
