The Opportunity

Do you enjoy project focused recruitment, contributing to the delivery and ongoing improvement of recruitment processes? We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner in this 12 month fixed term contract will work alongside our hiring managers and other key stakeholders in New Zealand & Australa to provide talent acquisition support and advice, including:

• Managing the end-to-end talent acquisition process for assigned managers including conducting job briefs, setting search strategy, sourcing, screening, recommending candidates for interview and effective offer management
• Proactively identifying internal and external candidates to meet QBE’s talent needs
• Ensuring a personalised, positive experience for all candidates and stakeholders, whilst contributing to a strong employee value proposition
• Supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure we attract talented people from the breadth of the communities in which we operate

About you
You’ll come to this role with an inquisitive mindset and a focus on best-practice recruitment processes and can immerse yourself in your portfolio to fully understand the people, the context, and the roles you’ll be hiring.

Together with a can-do attitude, you will have:

• Proven experience as a recruiter or sourcer in an in-house, RPO, or agency setting.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence a wide variety of stakeholders.
• The ability to establish a high degree of trust and credibility with stakeholders
• An enthusiastic approach to teamwork and delivering innovative solutions
• The ability to think creatively whilst demonstrating exceptional time management skills
• Organisation skills and the ability to prioritise, multi-task and work at pace to deliver against tight deadlines
• A demonstrated ability to successfully deliver results
