Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This role is crucial to the success of the Thales organisation, building our leadership pipeline and hiring the talent we need for tomorrow. Working from our Melbourne Office in the World Trade Centre on Wurundjeri land, your role will cover the below:

  • Proactive sourcing and networking - you’ll identify and cultivate exceptional leadership talent across the breadth of Thales Australia’s business functions.
  • Project Resourcing - support Operations and Program Directors with project resourcing guidance and establishing phased hiring plans.
  • Leverage Tools to Execute - CRM utilisation is key managing talent segments, diversity initiatives and candidate nurture.
  • Stakeholder Alignment - you will bring the right people together to ensure common understanding from day one of any talent search or project.
  • Leadership - you will be looked to for guidance, advance and support from your peers in TA and beyond.

A senior Talent Acquisition professional, ideally with experience in executive hiring, you’ll join us with the influencing skills and commercial savvy required to navigate the complexities of this role. Ideally you are adept at:

  • Candidate Management - you deliver exceptional candidate experience, because you care and seek understand them beyond a profile or CV.
  • Tools and systems - you navigate them well or at least have the curiosity to ask the right questions, explore and pick them up quickly.
  • Data Analysis - you can understand, analyse and interpret data well, you notice when things are incorrect and you can tell a story using data.
  • Stakeholder management - you are at ease across multiple level of stakeholder, seek to understand their drivers and build trust and connection quickly.
  • Problem Solving and Judgement - you can unpack a problem quickly and identify a solution applying logic to come to an appropriate path forward
