This role is based in our Sydney office with Hybrid working arrangement.

Role Purpose

Note: This is a 12-month fixed-term position covering an existing team member's maternity leave, working 4 days per week.

The HR Business Partner holds the primary strategic and tactical HR relationship with assigned client groups. He/she aligns and drives key HR polices, programs and processes to support the execution of business goals. The HR Business Partner promotes best practice in people management; drives a high-performance culture and great employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Coverage

  • Act as key focal point for client group on all HR matters - providing expert strategic and operational HR advice and guidance
  • Identify key business challenges across client groups and provide pragmatic HR solutions
  • Act as a sounding board to client group managers/leaders and provide professional advice and coaching
  • Promote best practice in people and talent management
  • Work within established Company policies and procedures and help business interpret and apply these appropriately
  • Optimise the customer experience by offering full resolution of issues on first contact where possible

HR Transformation

  • Help implement and shape the HR Transformation Plan and lead the delivery of special projects identified within the Plan
  • Drive change within client groups and embed new HR solutions
  • Liaison with the wider HR team to share ideas, best practice and contribute towards driving the HR Transformation plan
  • Ensure innovation and continuous improvement of HR systems, processes, and policies
  • Monitor KPIs within client group such as attrition, sickness, employee engagement and ensure remedial action taken where necessary

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition & Culture Partner to help us attract, hire, develop and retain exceptional people.

The initial focus of this role will be recruitment and talent acquisition, with approximately 70–80% of time dedicated to helping us find and hire exceptional people. As the business grows, the role has the opportunity to expand into broader People & Culture responsibilities.

This role will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to build a stronger recruitment engine, strengthen our culture, improve people systems, and help ensure we have the right people in the right seats as the business scales.


Requirements


Your Role

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across sales, management, leadership and support roles
  • Source, screen, interview and assess candidates using leading recruitment platforms, sourcing tools and hiring technologies.
  • Build talent pipelines and support future workforce planning
  • Improve hiring processes, scorecards, systems and recruitment standards
  • Partner with leaders on people-related matters including performance, accountability and difficult conversations
  • Help strengthen and evolve company culture, values and team standards
  • Support onboarding, employee engagement and people development initiatives
  • Work closely with the CEO and leadership team on organisational planning, hiring strategy and future capability needs
