Description

Description
Companies, investors and government entities around the world turn to Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) for leadership, action and results. Privately held since its founding in 1983, A&M is a leading global professional services firm that provides advisory, business performance improvement and turnaround management services. When conventional approaches are not enough to create transformation and drive change, clients seek our deep expertise and ability to deliver practical solutions to their unique problems.
With over 10,000 people providing services across six continents, we deliver tangible results for corporates, boards, private equity firms, law firms and government agencies facing complex challenges. Our senior leaders, and their teams, leverage A&M’s restructuring heritage to help companies act decisively, catapult growth and accelerate results. We are experienced operators, world-class consultants, former regulators and industry authorities with a shared commitment to telling clients what is really needed for turning change into a strategic business asset, managing risk and unlocking value at every stage of growth.
Our EMEA team is rapidly growing and therefore we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Researcher to join and be based in either Frankfurt or Hamburg.
The TA Researcher will integrate the wider EMEA TA Research team and help drive and execute talent research across the EMEA region.

Scope of the role:

  • Develop robust longlists and in-depth market maps of top talent for various business units across EMEA.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Leads to get a clear view of their strategic hiring priorities.
  • Participate in search kick-off meetings and partner with the Talent Acquisition Leads & Hiring Managers to understand the search parameters and gather feedback.
  • Support the continued development of industry/functional research insights by maintaining an awareness of specific industry and competitor trends.
  • Act as a talent market adviser, educating various stakeholders about specific external demographics and new market trends.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of talent research or sourcing experience gained in an executive search setting, or equivalent in-house function.
  • Hands on experience mapping/sourcing top talent from a range of sources such as social networks, search engines, conferences, industry news and referrals.
  • A strong interest for finding niche and often “hard to find” profiles, using the latest candidate sourcing tools and methods.
  • Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment and adapt priorities in line with changing business needs.
  • Fluency in English and German.
