ONE OF OUR ESTEEMED CLIENTS, A LEADING ORGANIZATION IN NORTH YORK, IS SEEKING A SKILLED AND PASSIONATE HR ASSOCIATE TO JOIN THEIR GROWING TEAM!

You will assist with a variety of HR tasks including maintaining employee records, coordinating interviews and orientations, supporting payroll and benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
The job requires flexibility and you will be required to work in the afternoon / night shift and weekend (Saturday) too!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of relevant HR experience (internships or co-op experience may be considered).
  • Basic knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and employment standards.
  • Familiarity with HR software/systems (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, Workday, or similar).

KEY SKILLS:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement processes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in full-cycle recruitment including job posting, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases (physical and digital).
  • Support new hire orientation and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Assist with payroll processing and timesheet collection under HR supervision.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to company policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and HR-related meetings.
  • Help ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
  • Support performance review and evaluation processes by organizing documents and follow-ups.
  • Assist in drafting and updating HR policies, procedures, and internal communication.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth HR operations.
