Overview The Talent Acquisition Specialist applies their conceptual knowledge of Talent Acquisition and, with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving many straightforward Talent Acquisition problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Talent Acquisition Specialist understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents. This position is an Individual Contributor role. The role directly reports to the Senior Manager Talent Acquisition and routinely interacts with human resources, managers, employees, candidates, and vendors. Responsibilities Interface with hiring stakeholders. Source relevant candidates and present them with traceable and structured record keeping, incorporating feedback as necessary. Manage assigned disciplines and ensure timely delivery. Provide information to the lead on challenges with the recruitment process or hiring process while seeking advice on how to overcome these difficulties for the work done periodically. Participate in provided training to gain further recruitment knowledge. Conduct research and other special assignments to help the stakeholders in the recruitment process. Meet and exceed both personal and Talent Acquisition Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred. Four – five (4-5) years of Talent Acquisition experience required. Ability to navigate basic functions in different recruiting tools, including Applicant Tracking Systems. Can develop competence in own area by performing routine work. Has basic knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures in general talent acquisition. Can apply knowledge, skills, and organization to complete own work and meet deadlines. Able to understand relationships between work processes and the business. Aware of costs related to own work, and can communicate information, ask questions and check for understanding.
