Description

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years in construction, engineering, or contracting industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction job roles (civil engineers, MEP engineers, foremen, safety officers, etc.).
  • Familiarity with manpower supply requirements and large-scale project staffing.
  • Proficiency in ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and job portals (Naukrigulf, Bayt, Indeed, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage high-volume recruitment under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of UAE Labor Law and visa processes (if based in UAE).

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • CIPD, SHRM, or HR certification (advantage).
  • Experience with bulk hiring for construction sites.
  • Strong networking skills within the construction industry.

Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment (sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management).
  • Partner with project directors and hiring managers to understand manpower needs for ongoing and upcoming construction projects.
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, agencies, campus hiring, and direct networking within the construction industry.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for technical and project-based roles.
  • Draft and post job advertisements in line with manpower plans.
  • Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Negotiate job offers and ensure smooth onboarding in collaboration with HR operations.
  • Track and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and retention of hires.
  • Ensure recruitment processes are compliant with UAE labor laws (or local laws where applicable).
  • Support employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in the construction industry.
