Position Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist – Operations & Manufacturing
Department: HR
Schedule: Full Time, Permanent. Monday - Friday 8:30 – 4:30 (Flexible working policy in place)
Location: On site - Fareham (travel required between Southampton sites)
CooperVision operate a hybrid working schedule of 3 days per week in office & 2 days from home. This will move to 5 days per week from Spring 2026

JOB SUMMARY:

As a TA Specialist you will be responsible for the recruitment of our Operator positions across our UK sites. In this role you will partner with hiring managers to bring top talent to our organization, you will focus on volume hiring across 3 sites including Distribution, Packaging & Manufacturing.
You will lead the recruitment process end to end, managing hiring managers & stakeholders throughout, actively searching for & screening potential candidates via phone, video and face to face interviews, delivering assessments and supporting with the offer process. You will need to be focused on direct sourcing as a priority, utilizing both our internal talent and externally sourcing.

ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for someone highly process driven with exceptional organization skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels. You should have a positive, pro-active attitude and genuine interest in and enthusiasm for attracting the best talent to an organization.
You must have previous experience of managing high volume recruitment in a similar environment/at a similar level gained from agency/in-house recruitment (ideally a mixture of both).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with all levels of stakeholder
  • Team player - willing to support colleagues, be adaptable to the changing needs of the team and business
  • Adaptable – flexible in ways of working and when required able to operate outside of typical responsibilities.
  • Strong process management skills, detail orientation and time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Data driven and confident with MS Excel/other reporting platforms
  • Must be fluent in using web-based recruiting tools, including social media, job boards and applicant tracking systems
  • English language is essential, additional languages are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Continuously improve on & deliver a succinct recruitment process for all Operator positions around the UK sites
  • Pro-actively identify system functionality improvements and drive through process changes
  • Identify qualified candidates and manage the end – end recruitment process from application to offer
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring objectives and develop a successful recruitment plan
  • Execute integrated recruitment solutions utilizing multiple avenues including direct sourcing, social networking, industry networking, employee referrals, internet sourcing, targeted advertising.
  • Champion an inclusive environment, continue to review and develop an inclusive recruitment process and support the development of more diverse talent pipelines and shortlists
  • Train & coach hiring managers as required on interview best practice and candidate experience where required
  • Contribute to and suggest ideas for process improvements, efficiencies and creative ways of working for the future
  • Participate in relevant EMEA projects and tasks as necessary
