The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead the hiring process for a wide range of roles, including field crews, skilled trades, project managers, engineers, and corporate support.
  • Build talent pipelines through job boards, social media, trade schools, career fairs, industry networks, and referrals.
  • Promote Ellingson Companies as an employer of choice in construction and engineering through digital content, events, and industry representation.

QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED OR PREFERRED)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within construction, engineering, or skilled trades.
  • Proven ability to recruit for a variety of roles, from field crews to technical professionals.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools.
  • Knowledge of labor and employment laws.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Experience building pipelines for skilled trades and construction roles.
  • Familiarity with workforce development initiatives and partnerships.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or other recruiting certifications.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
