Job Description The adventure begins here Our Brisbane studio has experienced strong growth, recently launched Carmen Sandiego and is currently working on exciting PC and console projects with major IP partners. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for an experienced, on-site Recruiter who will work closely with studio leadership to attract and secure the skilled professionals who bring our games to life. Gameplay in action: your role Handle end-to-end recruitment, ensuring smooth hiring processes from job posting to offer acceptance. Collaborate closely with the Studio Manager and Directors to understand hiring needs. Proactively source and build talent pipelines, using LinkedIn as a core tool to engage top-tier candidates in a thoughtful, targeted way. Manage candidate workflows using SmartRecruiters and Workday, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance, and great candidate communication. Support global recruitment needs where required. Build and manage external recruitment partnerships with key industry stakeholders (e.g. Screen Queensland, IGEA), including coordinating and attending events that grow our future talent pipeline. Create a strong first impression for new hires by managing offers and leading onboarding, including welcoming employees on their first day. Act as the central point of contact for immigration and relocation, supporting international hires, coordinating with TechVisa, and ensuring ongoing visa compliance for sponsored employees. Contribute to local and global recruitment initiatives where relevant. Level up: 3/6/12 months milestones 3 months: Build effective pipelines and make key hires while learning studio needs. 6 months: Support steady recruitment as hiring ramps up in 2026. 12 months: Participate in international recruitment projects or Diversity Inclusion initiatives like training managers. The team you’ll join Join a collaborative HR team including an HR Administrator Payroll Specialist and HR Learning Development Specialist, led by the HR Manager. The team is supportive and ready to help when needed. Managing multiple roles and time organization: Ability to handle several openings efficiently without losing focus while ensuring timely management of immigration and education related events. Flexibility: Comfortable adjusting to changing priorities in an evolving studio setting. Team-player: You collaborate effectively and provide support to peers whenever required. Stakeholder management: Working closely with the Studio Manager, Directors, HR Manager, and other teams to understand and meet recruitment needs.
